District Attorney Reduces Criminal Charges Against Basalt Client

Aspen attorney Ryan Kalamaya was quoted in both the Aspen Times and Aspen Daily News today in connection with the firm’s criminal defense of a Basalt client. A day before Ryan and associate attorney Georgina Melbye were set to appear for a preliminary hearing in front of Judge Seldin, the DA significantly reduced the charges. Bond was also reduced from $25,000 to $2,500. The case is set for a 7-day jury trial in July.
