Nick James is a trial attorney who handles criminal defense and personal injury cases.
He began his legal career as a public defender in El Paso County where he handled thousands of criminal cases as a Senior Deputy Public Defender. Nick took every level criminal case to trial as a public defender and relishes the challenges that come when handling major criminal cases.
After his time in the trenches as a PD, Nick took some time away from the law and thru hiked the Appalachian Trail and spent a winter chasing snow.
He graduated from University of California, Irvine School of Law in 2016, earning awards for his pro bono service and winning the schools trial advocacy competition.
