Georgina Melbye Elected as Treasurer of Pitkin County Bar Association

Kalamaya | Goscha associate attorney, Georgina Melbye, was elected as treasurer by the Pitkin County Bar Association. Composed of approximately 100 attorneys in Aspen, Pitkin County and the Roaring Fork Valley, the Pitkin County Bar Association is affiliated with the Colorado Bar Association. The Pitkin County Bar Association organizes legal presentations and events for local Aspen attorneys and judges.

Ms. Melbye primarily works for clients accused of crimes, suffering from personal injuries or going through a divorce. A particular area of emphasis for Ms. Melbye is drunk driving cases in Aspen. She has taken numerous cases to trial and appears in court in Aspen on a weekly basis. She is known by prosecutors, private attorneys and judges for her calm demeanor and effective advocacy.

Kalamaya | Goscha is recognized as a leader in legal and civic organizations. Partner Amy Goscha has been appointed to the Colorado Supreme Court Committee on Family Issues, Colorado Bar Association Executive Council and Fifth Judicial District Access to Justice Committee.
