Flat Fees

We know that one of the first questions for anyone charged with the crime is, “How much does a defense lawyer cost?” We offer competitive rates for DUI and other criminal cases. We are the only firm in the area that posts our fees online.

  • DUI (1st) – $3,000
  • DUI (2nd) – $4,000
  • DUI (3rd or more) – inquire for a quote
  • Misdemeanor Domestic Violence – $4,500
  • Other Misdemeanor Cases – inquire for a quote
  • Felony Cases – inquire for a quote

Payment Plans

For flat fees, we offer payment plans for clients with a credit card. We will require some money up front and work out a monthly payment plan that works for your financial situation.

Capped Fees

In contrast to other attorneys, we also offer capped fees. We require clients pay a retainer up front and agree to cap our fees to obtain a plea bargain. This benefits the clients in a number of ways. First, the client is assured that they get what they pay for. If we spend 2 hours to get the case dismissed, you pay for our time and nothing more.  Second, you will know in advance the maximum amount it will cost to resolve the case with a plea bargain. If you want to set the case for a motions hearing or trial, the cap will be lifted and you will pay for our time.

For DUIs with no prior offenses or aggravating circumstances such as injuries or property damage, we normally cap the DUI lawyer fees and costs at $3,500. This includes representation in the DMV revocation process and criminal case. The retainer is the same amount as the cap.

For DUIs with priors, the cap on DUI lawyer fees is a minimum of $5,000. We will determine the final cap based on the facts and circumstances of your case after discussing things with you.

For domestic-violence cases, the retainer and cap is generally $5,000. Again, we will have to discuss the charges and circumstances of your case before arriving at a firm number

Finally, if you are charged with a felony such as possession of or intent to distribute cocaine, we will need to discuss the basic facts with you before quoting a cap on your fees for a plea bargain.
